The Time for NAPLAN Literacy Practice Activities Series has been developed to help students become familiar and practise the types of questions and problems presented in the National Assessment Program in Literacy and Numeracy. Each book contains 6 NAPLAN practice sets of activities. There are up to 50 practice activities in language conventions and six for each reading exercise. Writing is treated as a separate activity. A full set of answers for language conventions and reading is included. At the end of each practice set, follow up needed can be recorded on pages 67 and 68. Here you can identify concepts and the types of questions and/or activities not fully understood by the student. Attention to these areas should be focused upon to help the child fully understand the scope of the NAPLAN program for the grade.
